Hyperliquid Unlocks Permissionless Perpetual Markets with HIP-3 Upgrade
Hyperliquid has launched HIP-3, a framework enabling permissionless deployment of perpetual futures markets, marking a pivotal step toward fully on-chain finance. The upgrade eliminates centralized oversight, allowing builders to create markets instantly.
TradeXYZ, Ventuals, and Felix Protocol are the first projects leveraging HIP-3, launching perpetual markets directly on Hyperliquid's L1 infrastructure. Co-founder Jeff Yan emphasized the upgrade's potential to enhance liquidity, capital efficiency, and price discovery across asset classes.
The MOVE aligns with Hyperliquid's ambition to become a global hub for on-chain financial instruments, offering developers a high-performance, composable environment for building transparent products.
